Louis Basilone was born 1977 in New York's Bronx borough and has photographed since the ninth grade. Louis has been persistent with the pursuit of art since childhood. He has found inspiration from his father, a creative carpenter and fantasy artist and his mother a passionate photographer.
Louis enjoys working closely with subjective environments that frame hidden realms of obscurity. With his "esoteric" study he questions a lot of what can be found hidden in the minuscule.
Two other ongoing projects shown here are collections of the transition from death to restored life. No images in these series have been retouched.
"Sympathetic Vibrations" divulges the viewer to a channel where humanity is jolted with trembling and later kindled with everlasting life.
"Metastasis" focuses on the outward aspect of nature during a evolution that explores both literal and shrouded representation.
"The Mirror" is Lou's revelation of himself technically and represents his apparent detail and precision in home decor and fashion.
